Re-Installing Windows ME TCP/IP.

  • To re-install Windows ME TCP/IP stack, follow these steps exactly.

  1. Please note this may require the Windows ME CD.
    .
  2. Click Start.
    .
  3. Click Settings.
    .
  4. Click Control Panel.
    .
  5. Double click Add/Remove Programs.
    .
  6. Then select the tab Windows Set-up.
    .
  7. Click on Communications. 
    .
  8. Then select Details.
    .
  9. Untick the box Dial Up Networking.
    .
  10. Then press OK.
    .
  11. Then Press OK again.
    .
  12. Restart your computer.
    .
  13. Click Starts.
    .
  14. Click Settings.
    .
  15. Double click  Add/Remove Programs.
    .
  16. Then select the tab Windows Set-up.
    .
  17. Click on Communications.
    .
  18. Then select Details.
    .
  19. Tick the box Dial Up Networking.
    .
  20. Then press OK.
    .
  21. Then press OK again.
    .
  22. Restart your computer. TCP/IP is now re-installed.
