Re-Installing Windows 95 TCP/IP.

  • To re-install Windows 95 TCP/IP stack. Follow these steps exactly.

  1. Please note this requires the Windows 95 CD.
    .
  2. Click start.
    .
  3. Click Settings.
    .
  4. Click Control Panel.
    .
  5. Double Click Network.
    .
  6. Remove all dial up adapter.
    .
  7. Click close.
    .
  8. Your system will then ask you to reboot Click NO.
    .
  9. Double click on" my computer" which is in the top left hand corner of your screen.
    .
  10. Double click on c:\ drive folder.
    .
  11. Double click on Program Files.
    .
  12. Double click on TSN Internet.
    .
  13. Double click on msdun13.exe.
    .
  14. It will then ask you to accept the agreement.
    .
  15. If you accept the agreement click YES.
    .
  16. Follow the installation.
    .
  17. During the installation it will complain about not being able to find the TCP/IP stack.
    .
  18. Click OK.
    .
  19. The computer will then ask you to reboot.
    .
  20. Click Yes.
    .
  21. When the computer asks you for the Windows 95 put it in the drive.
    .
  22. It may ask you for the path of the Windows 95 CD. The most common path is d:\win95 It may ask you for this path up to four times.
    .
  23. The installation shouldn't have any more prompts once finished you should be ready to connect to the net.
